Starts his baseball career in 2003 for the Norderstedt Hunters ... earned Rookie of the year honors in 2003 and was voted for the northern german local league (HBV / SHBV) All-Star Game in 2003 ... called to the 2004 All-Star Game but missed of an fractured arm ... left the Hunters at the end of 2005 to join the Dodgers, which cost him the third All-Star-Nomination in a row .. best Dodgers hitter 2006 - 2008.
